Understand the basics
Movement can include walking, wheeling, dancing, swimming, or seated activity. For adults, WHO recommends 150–300 minutes of moderate activity a week, or 75–150 minutes of vigorous activity, plus strength work on at least two days. Some activity is better than none; build up gradually.
Try it today
Choose five comfortable minutes of movement after an activity you already do, such as lunch. Repeat before adding time.
Make it work for you
A shorter or seated version still counts. Choose an accessible space and a pace that feels manageable.
